Art can help disrupt our accepted reality, giving us courage, motivation and emotional strength to transform systems of thinking, to evoke imagination, collaboration and curiosity, and to create space for new ideas to emerge which support a safe and just future for the living world. Join us for a fun workshop full of hope and kindness – using art to imagine the future of our community, its values, what defines it, what we don’t want to lose and what we can change to help build a more resilient community.
We will use colour, shape and pattern to reflect on our feelings around our potential to be positive changemakers and the topics we connect with in our communities to take action. We will gather our ideas in response to questions posed by the Global Ethical Stocktake to be shared at COP30.
All materials are provided, and no previous art experience is required – just a positive attitude and a willingness to try something new. Age 16+.
