About Global Donut Days 2025

Global Donut Days 2025 was a four-day, community-led festival, held online and in-person around the world, centred on Doughnut Economics, taking place from 14th -17th October 2025.

2025 marks a new level of geopolitical instability in the world. From the rapid rise of authoritarian politics to military aggression, humanitarian crises and genocide, and to the sharp realities of climate and ecological breakdown, Global Donut Days was a time to come together. 

Our goal is to create belief that a different future is possible, and Global Donut Days is an event for the community to build solidarity worldwide.

Putting Doughnut Economics into practice

The global community created more than 70 events across 45 cities in 24 countries, sharing stories, ideas and inspiration for putting Doughnut Economics into practice. 


Across the world conversations were held on topics ranging from education, business, co-operatives through policy, systems, culture to arts, creativity, community at workshops, panel sessions, launches, tours, performances, social connections, screenings, exhibitions and celebrations, to name just a few!
