We are a community group in Cambridge who are working on the Cambridge Doughnut project. We are building relationships with local government and other key organisations to help deliver this vision for Cambridge and the local area as a more just and environmentally sustainable city.
We seek to adopt the Doughnut Economics approach ensuring all those who work and live in Cambridge and its surrounds have the ability to thrive - with access to nutritious food, decent housing and their needs are met - all this without surpassing the climate and ecological boundaries of the planet.
We are collaborating with the Resilience Web, who help foster place based community action by connecting local groups who are helping to bring about positive change. These connections allow us to work with existing networks and to amplify the principles and ideas of Doughnut Economics as we work towards a better future.
