As a Chartered Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner, my focus on ethics led me to uncover a hidden truth within financial reports. This realization ignited my quest to enhance transparency and shed light on the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) or Sustainability disclosures in financial statements. However, my recent exploration into ESG and the concept of 'Doughnut economics' has deeply resonated with my values. Breaking free from the monetary-centric mindset ingrained in my education, I found a new purpose. This paradigm shift has sparked excitement within me, and I am eager to connect with like-minded individuals who hold these principles close to their hearts, as they are indeed precious in number.
