I'm a conscious capitalist who believes that it's possible to elevate humanity and the planet through business. As co-chair of the San Diego chapter of Conscious Capitalism, part of Cause San Diego team, and on the planning committee for World Design Capital 2024, we would like to learn more about using Donut Economics principles in our San Diego region. I left my last corporate job as president of accessories for Ralph Lauren to work with the fashion industry to help retail consumer goods brands become more triple bottom line. I'm active in the industry as a speaker, advisor and thought leader and also the author of a children's book for Conscious Capitalism Press - The ABCs of Conscious Capitalism for KIDs.

I work in responsible hospitality and am fascinated about how the Doughnut Economics model can be applied to the industry at destination, regional, and national levels. My work is focused on marketing and training so I am open to ways to use my skills, particularly those around my online, interactive training offer, to narrow the knowledge gap and reach more people.

Hi! I'm a business and economics student at Lancaster University. Recently started a project with a friend of mine, Ph.D. student in macroeconomics, called Net Gain, where we explain the implications of new tech in the labour force in a newsletter format. I also work as an asset analyst for the university fund, where the assumption of indefinite growth plays a pivotal role in my analyses. It's challenging to consider investments in stocks that aren't expected to sustain perpetual growth. Hence, my aim here is to connect with like-minded individuals and collectively explore actionable solutions.

A long story short: I am a Passionate individual with a self-aligning personal development plan towards a regenerative lifestyle. Sounds great right? Well... being "trapped" in system where options of choices are limited, and have learned the different aspects of a Naive and Authentic Progress narrative (The Great Simplification #126 with Daniel Schmachtenberger). So what can i do with what i have? Passion for leaning, Internet for learning, IT knowledge for programming, a country where "sustainable" actions are well received in a public context. What i do today: Produce studio microphones in a very low count scale. Repairable about 10 times, should last about 15 years between repairs/upgrades: A lifetime of about 150 years or about 3 human lifetimes. Started/Running Repair Café Haslev. In progress of starting "Omstillings Café Haslev" English; "Green transition Café". Future planned: A fully environmentally defined and measured music recording studio. Future plan of cultivation of a local regenerative collective mentality with a city design planning strategy, using the discipline of World building - based on the Doughnut Economic; Inspired by self development framework: Inner Development Goals.

I've been exploring leadership in social innovation spaces since 2009 - building bridges for collaboration and mindset shifts to activate systemic change. A passionate advocate for building capacity and capability in our young people as dynamic systems transformers. During this time I've come to understand how the current economic systems are at the heart of inequitable societies - and I'm passionate about organizing communities to find solutions they believe in.

I am an Industrial Designer by training and keen design thinker. Over the 28 years I’ve been working my career has evolved to include training and workshops as well as coaching and mentoring. I was brought up living in the deep countryside by my two entrepreneurial parents who both ran eco-centric businesses and later studied for my Masters focussing on how to use design thinking to help SMEs overcome obstacles to embed sustainable practices within their businesses. Today I coach and train small business owners 1:1, offer group coaching and deliver training via workshops to help SMEs better understand the benefits of sustainable business practices. This can be de-mystifying Net 0 or looking at more sustainable business models in order to start to measure your impacts, support a shift in business culture towards values led leadership.

I am the Director for the Surrey Hills National Landscape, one of the family of 44 National Parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England. I lead on developing the statutory Management Plan for the Surrey Hills which sets out the vision and policy framework for the area. This is adopted by government and all public bodies have a duty to further the purpose of the designation by helping to deliver the Plan. I am keen to use the principles and practices of Donut Economics as the basis for developing the Surrey Hills Management Plan with a 75 year vision (2025 - 2100)

I am a 60 year old holistic practitioner who works with horses and land. Following ten years in professional science, I lived in France for 20 years, then returned to the UK where I retrained in Reiki and Kinesiology. I subsequently founded my holistic practice in Wiltshire, working with horses, people, other animals and land. I am passionate about the environment. And have been convinced for some years that the present form of capitalism is one of the greatest threats to our, and our planet's safety. It was through the Great Simplification Podcast, Nate Hagens in conversation with Kate Raworth, that I discovered Doughnuts. And so here I am!
