I feel called to help bring forth a more coherent and harmonious way of living for all. Kate's teachings are energising and inspire me to use my skills to help on a practical level. I also follow Charles Eisenstein's work and am part of the New and Ancient Story (NaAS) community, a place where like-hearted people connect to share ideas on how we can remember our humanity to heal and build a better future together. My professional background is in marketing, and until recently I have been developing behaviour change campaigns for public health and safety. Through that work, I have seen how fear directs our society and I think it's time to change that. I am involved with a handful of community charities and projects, and see potential for change, but also the many roadblocks. I am on the Board of Trustees for Creative Stirling, a creative network for the city of Stirling (Scotland), that asserts change through enterprise, arts and culture working with and for all of Stirling’s diverse communities. Now I am signing up to DEAL to better understand how it works and how to bring positive change to Stirling via the networks that I have. Pleasure to be here.

Empathy, community and understanding. I'm a facilitator and trainer who helps people forge unbreakable bonds through learning the art of human connection. By stepping through the skills of human connection and regenerative leadership, we can build thriving communities. Places with strong networks, sharing and collaboration. Where members trust in each other and have the skills to build bloody beautiful things together. #empathy

Since 2021, I led the downscaling of the Doughnut to the transboundary area of the Greater Geneva (France, Switzerland) and to the University of Lausanne. I spent pretty much time working on the following issues : • how to downscale the Doughnut without loosing its deep ecology approach ? • which ecological indicators can we use at local and global scales ? • how to build a social basement based on the Theory of Human Needs approach (to ensure that a Safe and Just Space still exists) ? My colleague Cecilia Matasci, also from the University of Lausanne, created a method to evaluate the Global-Social impacts of the university, based on the imported modern slavery. I spent my less time on : • participative production of the downscaled Doughnut (we always did it between "experts") • transforming business models with Doughnut Economics • producing operationnal public policies driven by the Doughnut Model (on process with the Administration of the University of Lausanne, in 2024).

I am a Nigerian who is passionate about energy increase in Africa. I believe that leadership is a choice and we all have a role to play in the energy transition. Therefore, I am making a conscious decision to play a part in the journey toward a sustainable future. By co-developing a startup that is focused on turning biogas into an affordable and accessible source of clean energy for African communities.

I’m the co-founder of TetherEV (tetherev.io), a startup with the mission of turning electric vehicles into one decentralised connected virtual battery to stabilise the electric grid and allow every EV owner to become a stakeholder in the fight against climate change and benefit from it. I am eager to learn more about the doughnut economics best practices to ensure we meet all our planetary boundaries.

Hello. I came across your work after reading Donut Economics, by Kate Raworth, and I was hooked on the message. Right now I believe that the ideas that are proposed from this community are directly linked to the need for a global paradigm shift to address anthropogenic climate change. I am 59 years old. I'm married. I have 3 children. I have a degree in chemistry and have worked in food quality and safety in the private sector, in Murcia, my region, for more than 30 years. I also have experience as a secondary school science teacher. I am especially concerned about anthropogenic climate change and its consequences on our planet, on our societies, on our environment. I believe that another world is possible, despite the harsh reality that we have before our eyes, and that every grain of sand helps form a beach...

Dad to two sons and I want them to know that there is a better future alternative to the one that is being sold to them now in school and in mainstream media. Working in a large public sector company I am keen to see what thinking is being applied to these problems and if they can be incorporated into what I do.
