I’m a volunteer doing my best to help everyone in our community to thrive, to embrace change for the good of everyone and the planet and to live a happy and sustainable lifestyle. I believe the ideas and thoughts of those living and working in a community are important and should drive activity rather than outsiders who try to make money from our communities and don’t care.

I currently work as a business coach, helping teams and organizations become more adaptive. I've also co-founded and nurtured a meetup group to grow to more than 3000 individuals. I'm interested in fostering Land Based Community employment options. What value exchange options arise from taking a regenerative approach rather than an extractive approach with both land and people? What would it take to attract and guide people to deep prosperity? #regeneration, #permaculture , #cohousing, , #games,

In my current role at Quantum5, I am responsible for supporting businesses to balance profits with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibilities. I lead our global engagement and relationships with the United Nations Global Compact Network Pakistan and provide businesses, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and agencies with customised analysis, guidance, and support to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to tackle #climate change, particularly focusing on reducing inequalities, achieving net-zero, and creating sustainable economic growth. I have also taken the lead in developing a hybrid #SDG and #ESG Assessment tool for the United Nations Global Compact Network Pakistan, using a tech platform for businesses to better understand the UN’s SDGs and to help companies springboard their sustainability ambitions by assessing their sustainability baseline and next steps to drive the UN’s 2030 agenda forward.

I am retired from working in the water policy, watershed management field in Southern California. Water has always been and is increasingly a scarce resource here. It seems to me that the mindset of those charged with managing water has for too long been that there is always more water somewhere. We are now realizing that is not true. I have also wondered what an economy not based on consumerism would look like. Doughnut Economics provides a theory for such an economy. I am keenly interested in learning ways that theory can be put into practice.

I am an executive and team coach specializing in providing services to the non-profit and social enterprise sectors. Before coaching I had a career as a leader in international development. I have strong personal connections with Sudan and have worked in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. My leadership work in the arena of poverty and crisis have made me a passionate advocate for the inclusion of all voices in the realization of rights-based, sustainable change both inside the organisation and with those it serves. We all share the same planet and our living and thriving depends on using our resources collaboratively and purposefully. Now as a member of the Climate Coaching Alliance I am looking to support my clients as they think towards being part of the Wellbeing Economy we need. Being in the DEAL community seems to make perfect sense!

I am a student of economics and would like to become a teacher for secondary school students. During my studies I came across the problem of growth and I want to learn more about circular economy systems. I believe that there is an alternative to capitalism and that our economic system needs to change to a healthy system where we neither exceed the limits of our planet nor fall into a lack of basic needs. The Doughnut is a good and easy to understand model that I would like to convey as a serious alternative to the traditional economic model of the 20th century.
