I'm passionate about the benefits of putting creativity and brilliant people at the heart of everything that we do. I am a business coach and funding mentor for creatives with two businesses; Creative Spark Projects and Equal Vision CIC. The big project which I've been working on since 2017, is the Curiosity Museum, a new creative, fun introduction to careers. We have created digital and live thinking spaces where young people can uncover skills and match them to the 1000s of possible jobs out there. I'm lucky enough to live in West Malvern, a beautiful place and amazing community and am interested in how we can work together to connect and support each other.

I studied traditional economics in university. DEAL's approach considers vital areas in the current period, such as the environment and consequences of uneven development, whereas traditional economic theories also considered those items, albeit ceteris paribus, in promoting their respective analysis. I accept the notion that the broader definition of "prosperity" is not necessarily correlated with a nation's rise in GDP.

Hi all, I've found this community through listening to the Freakonomics Podcast. It oddly intersects with my resurfacing of a desire for a simpler life that focuses on self sufficiency and quality of life vs constantly pursuing...more. I'm a single mom, grew up on the plains of South Dakota on a ranch with a tremendous garden and literally raising our own meat. Now I live in a 1 bedroom apartment and spend ridiculous amounts of money on groceries that are lower quality than what I grew up with. I am gradually trying to shift my rented apartment to becoming more self sufficient and want to share what I learn so others can do the same. Thereby meeting some of our basic needs with less money , decreasing impact on the environment, and improving overall quality of life for me, my child, and hopefully my community.

Hi, I am joining this community because « Doughnut Economics » has been a source of inspiration and hope. And I would like to help spread the vision and the tools. I haven’t quite figured out how I can contribute, working on it… #LearningOrganization #CollectiveIntelligence Because I have been really lucky to work for some companies that had a « learning organization » culture, collective intelligence and effective collaboration are powerful and provide for fun, thrilling experiences.

Conventional processes are failing to tackle complex, social and environmental problems and in some cases are generating ‘black swan’ consequences. I recognize that I am a contributor to this problem as I am part of the broken system that I want to change and I realise that doing ‘less harm’ is no longer enough. Regeneration of our economies and societies and earth itself will require a shift in thinking and collaboration in a community like this.

I want to be part of the road towards a sustainable future. After obtaining my two Master’s degrees in Business Economics: Marketing (Ghent University) and in Sustainable Management (Uppsala University), I am ready to put theory into practice and to keep learning. I believe my soft skills communication, teamwork and problem-solving are a great asset in the workplace. About me: I’m positive, easy-going and love to connect with people from all over the world. By living in different countries (🇧🇪🇫🇷🇸🇪🇪🇸), I got to know different languages, cultures and perspectives. It also increased my adaptability and taught me that I thrive in an international and multidisciplinary environment, thanks to its richness of views and opinions. In my free time, I like to go scuba diving, play volleyball and go snowboarding.

Hello 👋 I am interested in learning more about doughnut economics. I am particularly interested in re-thinking how the spaces we live and heal in (ie: hospitals, assisted living facilities, homes) are designed to maximize sustainability, wellness, and incorporation of nature and biophilic design.

CEO of Pickle Consulting and Co-founder of the Sustainable Marketing Compass (SMC). Despite launching ISO14001 in my early career, I spent 30 years working globally for brands like Microsoft, Philips, AkzoNobel, VISA, BSI, AVIVA and Honda. Then one day, one question from my daughter changed everything. "Daddy, is your job good for the environment?" I work with Alexis Eyree of Green Eyre and the other Co-Founder of the SMC, we are two career marketers with over 50 years’ worth of experience and expertise between us. We met at the Cambridge University Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Troubled by marketing’s complicity in the sustainability challenges the world faces, we undertook our studies, feeling like we had devil horns growing out of our heads. Our purpose is to re-orientate and reinvigorate the behaviour changing capabilities of Marketing. Transforming it from an engine of over-consumption and waste generation to a powerful catalyst for positive change, in the pursuit of a sustainable world for all.
