Communication and strategy expert, interested in the role of communication and the creation of hybrid models and open innovation, aimed at social change. Founder and director at www.everythingisconnected.eu - a trans-disciplinary platform aimed at creating new communication paradigms, translated into artivist initiatives and living labs, to raise awareness about the environmental crisis, giving centrality to public spaces, schools, digital channels and codesign processes. Over 15 years’ experience as creative strategist and communication planner with specialization in Social Media and new technology, in advertising agencies between London, Milan and Bari. Passion for contemporary issues, climate change, youth development, psychology and anthropology of the arts. Really impressed with the Doughnut model as I think it's the most comprehensive economic and social model that could allow the modern society to work together and thriving, respecting personal goals, collective ambitions and ecological challenges.

My main talent is designing transformative learning Experiences for complex social and environmental issues. In my rush to bring more justice to the world I co-founded three social innovation organsiations. All three organsiations are flourishing and empower children and young people through co-creation for climate & social justice. I was awarded the Ashoka Fellowship in 2016 & since recently am an LSX Fellow. From Ireland, and based in Amsterdam I work with educational and youth organisations locally and in the Global South. Currently my work is at Design-a-thon Works as Program Lead where we 'Empower Children to Design Better Futures'

I am a researcher and development practitioner in sustainable, inclusive and resilient development of tourism destinations, engaging tourism enterprises and local communities. I have been working in development, education and research for over 25 years. I lecture at universities in Asia and Europe since the mid-1990s. I was a sustainable tourism adviser for SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in several countries in the Himalaya and the Mekong, between 1996 and 2011. I also took on the role of knowledge network leader for SNV Asia, and led its tourism strategy and knowledge development, advisory product development and profiling. During those years, I coordinated the Sustainable Tourism Eliminating Poverty partnership with the World Tourism Organisation and partnered with a range of research and development organizations in Asia. In SNV, I strengthened capacities of tourism-related organisations in sustainable tourism value chain development, small and medium enterprise development, public private partnerships, multi-stakeholder collaboration, participatory tourism planning, and development impact measurement. Developing sustainable and meaningful destinations was always paramount, it is at the destination level where the tourism and hospitality industry impacts and engages with communities and surrounding landscapes. Possibilities of creating regenerative and distributive economies and achieving transformational change in tourism destinations triggered my interest in the DEAL community. Putting theory in practice… at the moment, I am also owner of an organic farm with overnight stay in Nepal, and ECEAT project manager for SUSTOUR in Bhutan, a transforming tourism and hospitality industry project involving over 400 hotels, tour operators and local suppliers.

The Doughnut is a very interesting concept. I'm looking to learn more, and connect with people who are already using the tools actively. Until 2021 I used to work in the company my father founded, making unusual lighting fixtures. Due to a change of shareholders after my father's passing away, the company was sold. I'm looking for new things to do, but not as caterpillar manufacturer anymore. I'm specially interested in supporting projects in product design, architecture, urban planning, bicycles, projects run by women, projects that make the cities more friendly and livable, projects that help everyone to stop overconsumption

I'm a German lawyer by training and worked for 20 yrs in various leadership positions in financial services. I hold a PhD in law and initially specialized in large-scale capital markets and corporate transactions. Moving in-house, I broadened my expertise to regulatory & compliance, as well as operations, IT, digital strategy and digital transformation. I have lived, worked and studied in Frankfurt, Sydney, London, Hong Kong and Munich where I'm now based. In 2017, I was fed up with the resistance to change in the corporate world. I left her well-paid job to get some fresh air, update my operating system and gain new perspectives on change, innovation, and the state of the world. I embarked on a deep, self-directed learning journey which ultimately led to the realization that my true professional purpose was to support the shift from an extractive to a regenerative economic model. I see the world of business as uniquely positioned to facilitate rapid change and key to getting us out of the current mess. In 2021, I founded Business Reinvented and designed the Paradigm Changer Program for leaders called to deeply transform big business and create a new, sustainable business world. I'm part of a number of „liminal web“ communities and open to exploring opportunities and working more closely with like-minded souls to accelerate the shift to Game B. Most recently I completed the Regenerative Economics course with John Fullerton's Capital Institute.
