Sunway Centre for Planetary Health was delighted to join Urbanice Malaysia for Urban Clinic 3, addressing the pressing issue of heat stress and urban cooling strategies. We brought the Doughnut Economics model to the table! This unique framework helped us systematically map how various cooling strategies relate to the Doughnut's social and ecological dimensions. It was an incredibly effective supporting tool that sparked dynamic new discussions, helped identify critical gaps, and ensured we're aiming for a holistic, planet-positive approach to urban development.
