I was speaking at Greenbelt Festival this August in a circus-style tent, so I couldn't resist turning it into Economic Circus. It was pouring with rain outside but we huddled into the tent and for an hour we dived into exploring: exponential vs logistic growth; the green growth vs degrowth debate; and some of the ways that today's economies are structurally dependent on endless growth (and what could be done about it). It was rowdy, very participatory and huge fun - there's a lot you can do with a top hat, swimming noodles and a fantastic crowd. Watch this space, there's more Economic CIrcus to come...
