I’m a researcher and writer, passionate about redistributing power and wealth and reimagining the responsibilities of markets and the government. After a career leading teams and a business in the tech industry, I pivoted to pursue a graduate degree in Anthropology to allow myself the room to pursue the question that I care about—how can we redistribute power to workers? I'm now seeking a full-time role in leadership or research positions at public policy, research, and/or nonprofit organizations that are focused on transforming corporate responsibility and how our markets operate.

After 27 years in supervised financial services entities (#banking, #fintech, #regtech), I have decided to support as an entrepreneur the community to better circulate in the complex regulatory environment (#digital transformation, ) . I lived one third of my life in #France, #Luxembourg, and one third in #Belgium / #Germany, I like discovering people’s stories and purpose. Hi, I am Melanie, a finance profesionnal for over 16 years after studies of Business Administration and some Economics. In the last 8 years, besindes Finance, I was in charge of CSR of a SME in Geneva and my interest in sustainable business transformation gott bigger every day though often created conflictual interests with my financial objectives. I got increasingly ambitious in digging beyond carbon accounting in business' strategy and governance and beyond business in the bigger picture of the system we are operating and living in. This is how I got interested in Donut Economics - quite late actually - and I was immediately fascinated by the logical and inclusive concept but moreover by Kate Raworth visionary and highly encouraging speeches. I am as well a big supporter of peer mentoring and collective intelligence for creating better ideas, innovation and engagement. As an enthousiastic cyclist in the city and in the mountains, I am very interested in mobility topics especially in terms of urban policies and transformation in my local environment and believe that the concept of the 15-minute city is part of the solution. #15-minute city

I am a transformational futurist and the CEO of the Southern African Institute for Strategic Futures and Foresight. I currently focus on the economic future of African and BRICS-aligned countries. My focus lies in the fact that Africa, BRICS and the broader Global South will experience substantial growth in the near-to-mid- term future. My concern lies in the fact that the globe (as far as resources and the environment is concerned) will be put under even more severe stress, given the added strain that the resource requirement of this new growth will place on the commons.
