I have worked with over 200 organisations to help them think differently about their place in the world and how they can become thriving enterprises contributing to a flourishing society. I am experienced in Doughnut Economics and passionate about strategy. A recent project I managed 'Eco-I NW' was awarded 2023 European SDG Initiative of the Year and UK Net-Zero Business Collaboration of the Year. All of my work is driven by action with enterprise, working to help the business community to understand: 🤔 What they do; 🧐 What are the associated impacts of what we do and the climate risks posed to incumbent business models; 😃 How businesses can move towards co-created long-term visions of sustainability via innovations at the strategic, business model, product, service and process levels, in so doing enhancing their resilience to the climate threat. My entire background has been applied work with organisations that range from the European Commission, to global industries such as the aviation sector, multi-national corporations, local authorities, SMEs, and local community groups. I have also covered themes as diverse as climate change, waste management, environmental noise management, communication and engagement between stakeholders and many, many more. In so doing I have developed experience across a range of areas that drive business responses to climate. These include: 👨🏻💼 Project management of multi-million pound projects; 🤝 Facilitation of innovation workshops for sustainability; 🌍 Delivery of real GHG savings and new-to-market products and services; 💬 Communication and engagement of climate issues. To this end, I am a certified trainer in Carbon Literacy and one of 3 accredited trainers in Environmental Management at Airports for Airports Council International - the global governing body for the Airport sector. If you haven't picked up from the above and my posts on here, I have a real passion for supporting the business community in its transition to sustainability, and in helping others to do the same. If you are a business/sector looking to innovate, a professional looking to support businesses, or a graduate or student looking to understand how you can help with any of the above, send me a message to say hello. Hi, I'm Helen and I manage an apprenticeship programme in central London. I'm also studying for my Masters in sustainability. I'm interested in making steps towards circularity within my work, where possible, equipping the next generation with the skills to embed circularity within their own practice and to meet other people on the same journey.

Sílvia Correia
Braga, Portugal
Hi, my name is Sílvia, I live in the wonderful city of Braga upt in the North of Portugal. I am a trained economist, a marketing enthusiast and a social entrepreneur at heart. I started my own business in Marketing & Communication in 2010 and in 2020 I founded my own brand: re.store! re.store is the Planet-and-People friendly brand built on the circularuty principles. We upcycle textile waste, leftovers and samples from the Portuguese textile industry (so far, +6.e tons) and transform them into new, functional products with a purpose. All our products are stitched by our social partners (social institutions, refugees, prison inmates, social causes) to whom we pay a financial salary (+€58k so far) and an emotional one because we foster their self esteem and sense of belonging in society. We also share our experience, stories and motivation at schools and universities as well as in organizations because we believe we must contribute to the collective awareness that we need to change and transform our consumer behaviour. And this is the 3rd P in our strategy: Pedagogy for change (1st being People and 2nd being Planet). I am thrilled to be able to join this community, to share our experience and concerns and learn from others, thus contributing to the importance of a sustainable and socially inclusive TOMORROW!
