I work with complex systems, wicked challenges and uncertainties. This is mostly connected to regional development, where I identify connections between industries, sectors, organisations and people. I do all this to understand how things work in our societies and explore ways to initiate exchange and collaboration between diverse actors. I helped out in different sustainable development projects around Europe (Sweden, France, Switzerland and Luxembourg). My current mission: Contributing to sustainable development in Luxembourg - and thus also globally. Hit me up! Partnerships and Collaboration are key for the transition we need. Let´s start now! Send me a request or contact me on LinkedIn. I am happy to hear from you!

I studied economics and started questioning the economic models. This is how I first learned about the donut economy - a new approach which I find very inspiring. I want to help spread the word and make people aware that there are different approaches besides capitalisms out there - more social more sustainable. Less is more and growth is not always the solution for everything. We need to understand to give and let those societies grow which really need it. I'm very much interested in city projects like the one in Amsterdam which apply the donut approach for the first time. Those are projects which really inspire and show that different ways are possible.

I run a boutique circular economy and sustainability consultancy in Australia, but support clients globally. Our goal is to have as significant positive impact on the worlds challenges such as the material transition and value chain decarbonisation. I utilise the planetary boundaries framework in my assessments but am wanting to transition this to the doughnut framework to highlight to companies the positive and negative impacts they are contributing to.

I am a degrowth and decolonisation enthusiast who is trying to find meaning by helping companies with their circular economy and sustainability strategies. A big advocate for reuse business models and rental services, but mostly I focus on how we can live within our means and be happy. I am passionate about building African cities that suit our needs without adhering to western standards and showcasing all that we have to offer e.g. the importance of reclaimers in making South African suburbs more circular.

I'm an Architect, passionate about community and context, I practice at the intersection of architecture and social enterprise. I believe design is a tool for a positive impact on our lives. In the last years, I had the pleasure to team up with IaaC Institute, FabLab in Barcelona, Perugia and Utara University in Italy and Malaysia, and Impact Hub Kuala Lumpur on urban regenerative projects. I coordinated projects promoted by social enterprises and NG0s with a bottom-up approach, being supported by international Organizations like Lega Coop Umbria, CARITAS Italy, PEFC Italy, Leroy Merlin s.r.l., and innovative finance organizations like BANCA ETICA, and BCC Bank. I have over 15 years of experience in the built environment industry as an architect, project manager, urban planner, interior designer, researcher, and practitioner across several architecture sectors. I have collaborated with international Design firms for a long time on large urban developments in Italy, the Philippines, Turkey, the UK, and the US, involved in the interiors of superyachts, skyscrapers, and private residential around the world. I have worked with over 200 organisations to help them think differently about their place in the world and how they can become thriving enterprises contributing to a flourishing society. I am experienced in Doughnut Economics and passionate about strategy. A recent project I managed 'Eco-I NW' was awarded 2023 European SDG Initiative of the Year and UK Net-Zero Business Collaboration of the Year. All of my work is driven by action with enterprise, working to help the business community to understand: 🤔 What they do; 🧐 What are the associated impacts of what we do and the climate risks posed to incumbent business models; 😃 How businesses can move towards co-created long-term visions of sustainability via innovations at the strategic, business model, product, service and process levels, in so doing enhancing their resilience to the climate threat. My entire background has been applied work with organisations that range from the European Commission, to global industries such as the aviation sector, multi-national corporations, local authorities, SMEs, and local community groups. I have also covered themes as diverse as climate change, waste management, environmental noise management, communication and engagement between stakeholders and many, many more. In so doing I have developed experience across a range of areas that drive business responses to climate. These include: 👨🏻💼 Project management of multi-million pound projects; 🤝 Facilitation of innovation workshops for sustainability; 🌍 Delivery of real GHG savings and new-to-market products and services; 💬 Communication and engagement of climate issues. To this end, I am a certified trainer in Carbon Literacy and one of 3 accredited trainers in Environmental Management at Airports for Airports Council International - the global governing body for the Airport sector. If you haven't picked up from the above and my posts on here, I have a real passion for supporting the business community in its transition to sustainability, and in helping others to do the same. If you are a business/sector looking to innovate, a professional looking to support businesses, or a graduate or student looking to understand how you can help with any of the above, send me a message to say hello. You can learn more about me and me work at https://litmussustainability.com/

I want to be part of the road towards a sustainable future. After obtaining my two Master’s degrees in Business Economics: Marketing (Ghent University) and in Sustainable Management (Uppsala University), I am ready to put theory into practice and to keep learning. I believe my soft skills communication, teamwork and problem-solving are a great asset in the workplace. About me: I’m positive, easy-going and love to connect with people from all over the world. By living in different countries (🇧🇪🇫🇷🇸🇪🇪🇸), I got to know different languages, cultures and perspectives. It also increased my adaptability and taught me that I thrive in an international and multidisciplinary environment, thanks to its richness of views and opinions. In my free time, I like to go scuba diving, play volleyball and go snowboarding.

Conventional processes are failing to tackle complex, social and environmental problems and in some cases are generating ‘black swan’ consequences. I recognize that I am a contributor to this problem as I am part of the broken system that I want to change and I realise that doing ‘less harm’ is no longer enough. Regeneration of our economies and societies and earth itself will require a shift in thinking and collaboration in a community like this.

I am currently studying MSc Food Security and Natural Resources at CAT I'm interested in everything to do with the agri-food system in the UK and globally and strongly believe in the power of the Doughnut and the potential it has to bring humanity within planetary boundaries. In regards to the current food system I believe that alternative economics are key to creating a just and regenerative food system that supports stakeholders and participants at all levels, while also restoring and giving back to the natural world. Modern economic theory with its strong capitalist leanings and emphasis on globalisation does not work for the production, consumption and disposal of food, and we desparately need to create environments for alternative ways of thinking and being.
