Doughnut economics on brillder

Our latest online learning module on brillder introduces students to doughnut economics

We are passionate about economics education and have been working hard to produce a catalogue of resources for learners of all ages on Brillder, a platform where you can create and play interactive investigations on any subject. Our latest offering is a brick which explores the limitations of traditional methods of measuring living standards. We felt that this was a perfect opportunity to introduce learners to the doughnut.

The brief

The brick requires learners to view a video of Kate Raworth explaining the concept before answering some questions based on the planetary boundaries, social foundations and policies which could be implemented by governments to bring us back to the safe space for humanity.
