International Classrooms from IDEEC proyect.
Mixed online and outline sessions, where classrooms from Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Scotland and UK work on impact ideas

This activity provides teachers and students to try out an impact driven entrepreneurial activity in your classroom and share the experience with fellow students in classrooms around Europe.
Context
How do young people experience that they can make a positive impact on their environment through entrepreneurial actions? This question is central in the project Impact-driven Entrepreneurship Education for Children (IDEEC). IDEEC is an Erasmus+ project, co-funded by the European Union.
Developing competencies for impact-driven entrepreneurship requires agency and activity from the learners. We see the international classrooms as an experiential, practical, local and active process. Therefore we can structure this process of learning by doing into a three-phase approach. In each of the phases, we have identified three main competencies that learners develop. We think they are most prominent in this particular phase, but of course, they are also relevant in other phases.
Phase 1: Challenge Framing – what is the problem you want to solve?
Phase 2: Solutions Experimenting – what possible solutions do you explore?
Phase 3: Impact Making – how can you make a real difference to the problem?
Read more about the competencies in each phase and the didactic principles in IDEEC's Introduction to the Toolkit, here.
Overall aim of the international classroom events
The overall aim of the classroom is to give teachers and students an experience of one of the activities and to explore how they can make a difference in your local context. It is also an opportunity to explore the competency framework that underpins the project and to understand how you can support the students to develop competencies in each phase of the programme.
With this event we could connect online with other classrooms internationally, who are working on the same activity at the same time.
