Donut Toolbox_German
Homepage for Donut tools in German_https://donut.nexteconomylab.de/

The website combines all the other five methods that were created within the project "The Donut Economy" by NELA. Next Economy Lab e.V. and aims to bring the vision of a good life without environmental pollution to the centre of civil society and the community. In the future, the website will also be used to present other donut projects and to provide more information material on the donut economy. Since such a platform does not yet exist for German-speaking countries, it will bring the donut model more public attention.

I studied environmental sciences, economics and an international master's degree in sustainable development. For more than 10 years, I was working in the field of "sustainable business" as a process facilitator, workshop leader and consultant. My topics are growth independence, education for sustainable development and community-based forms of business development. I am partner at NELA. Next Economy Lab (nexteconomylab.de) which is based in Bonn (Germany).

I am a practitioner and an academic in the field of sustainable business. I completed my study in forest and environmental sciences at the University of Freiburg (Germany) and at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Norway) and attained a doctoral degree on the influence of informal networks on the learning capabilities of organizations. My professional interests lie in the interaction of hard and soft systems thinking, especially in the areas of organizational learning and nascent entrepreneurship for “more sustainability” in an increasingly "digital" world.

I am a climate educator, helping people who want to solve the climate and ecological crises find a new role or other ways to take action. I have a background in mainstream economics, having worked for many years as an economic consultant. For the past several years I have been seeking ways to change the economic system as an activist and advocate for systems change and Doughnut/Wellbeing economics. Currently I am working with activists and scientists in Vienna to set up a Doughnut Coalition to help mainstream the ideas of Doughnut Economics and influence business, education and policy in the city and beyond.

Steps that led me to become a circular economy ambassador include twelve years of figure skating, fifteen years drumming in a noise rock band, ten years of journalism, some marketing management and right now economic development work since 2018. Multi-dimensionally educated would describe me best. I am willing and able to transform my home area and city into a prospering region, ready for the 21st century. I do this with the help of the many talented people of Chemnitz. Want to join us here in the European Capital of Culture 2025?!
