Homepage for Donut tools in German_https://donut.nexteconomylab.de/

The website combines all the other five methods that were created within the project "The Donut Economy" by NELA. Next Economy Lab e.V. and aims to bring the vision of a good life without environmental pollution to the centre of civil society and the community. In the future, the website will also be used to present other donut projects and to provide more information material on the donut economy. Since such a platform does not yet exist for German-speaking countries, it will bring the donut model more public attention.

Member Michael von Kutzschenbach FHNW, Basel (Switzerland) I am a practitioner and an academic in the field of sustainable business. I completed my study in forest and environmental sciences at the University of Freiburg (Germany) and at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (Norway) and attained a doctoral degree on the influence of informal networks on the learning capabilities of organizations. My professional interests lie in the interaction of hard and soft systems thinking, especially in the areas of organizational learning and nascent entrepreneurship for “more sustainability” in an increasingly "digital" world.

Member Katy Shields Vienna, Wien, Austria I am a renegade economist, educator and storyteller, helping people to understand the root causes of our crises and find ways to take action. I describe myself as a "recovering" mainstream economist. In addition to co-founding the Donut Wien association (Doughnut Vienna) which is aiming to create a "Donut Compass" for Vienna, I am founder and course director of Regenerative Economy Lab, which provides expert-designed courses in new economic thinking, and co-creater of the acclaimed "Tipping Point" podcast series on the Limits to Growth, created with my partners at Re-Plot Media, which create stories for navigating our crises across speaker, screen and stage.

Member Boris Kaiser Chemnitz, Sachsen, Deutschland Steps that led me to become a circular economy ambassador include twelve years of figure skating, fifteen years drumming in a noise rock band, ten years of journalism, some marketing management and right now economic development work since 2018. Multi-dimensionally educated would describe me best. I am willing and able to transform my home area and city into a prospering region, ready for the 21st century. I do this with the help of the many talented people of Chemnitz. Want to join us here in the European Capital of Culture 2025?!
