지구의 한계를 지키면서 모두가 잘 살기 위해, 우리는 무엇을 배우고 어떤 질문을 나눠야 할까요?

경기도의 광역대표도서관인 경기도서관에서 열리는 〈사람과 지구를 위한 도서관의 상상〉 첫 강의에 여러분을 초대합니다. 두 차례의 만남에서 우리는 도넛경제학의 생태적 한계와 사회적 기초를 탄소리터러시와 돌봄이라는 주제로 생각합니다.

Global Donut Days 2026을 앞둔 사전 강연에서, 호주 퀸즐랜드대학교 한국학센터 공동센터장이자 명예 부교수인 정재훈 교수와 탄소리터러시를 배웁니다. 우리가 기후위기와 탄소배출을 어떻게 이해하고, 도서관에서 함께 배운 것을 지역의 삶과 어떻게 연결할 수 있을지 이야기해 봅니다.

What do we need to learn and ask together so that everyone can live well within the Earth’s limits?

Join us at Gyeonggi Library, Gyeonggi Province’s representative library, for the first lecture in Imagining Libraries for People and Planet. Across two gatherings, we will explore the ecological ceiling and social foundation of Doughnut Economics through carbon literacy and care.

Ahead of Global Donut Days 2026, we will learn about carbon literacy with Professor Jae-Hoon Jung (정재훈), Co-Director of the Korean Studies Centre and Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Queensland. Together, we will ask how we can understand carbon emissions and the climate crisis, and connect what we learn at the library with life in our communities.
