우리는 서로를 어떻게 돌보고 있나요? 돌봄이 필요할 때 누구나 도움을 받을 수 있으려면 무엇이 달라져야 할까요?

Global Donut Days 2026이 지난 뒤에도, 여러분을 경기도의 광역대표도서관인 경기도서관으로 초대합니다. 〈사람과 지구를 위한 도서관의 상상〉 두 번째 강의에서 함께 돌봄을 이야기하며 도넛경제학의 생태적 한계와 사회적 기초를 생각해 봅니다.

정치철학자이자 경희대학교 비교문화연구소 교수인 김만권 교수와 함께 돌봄을 이야기합니다. 그는 『나와 지구 돌봄 혁명』에서 기후변화, 인구 감소, 디지털 격차와 돌봄의 관계를 다뤘습니다. 강의를 들으며 돌봄의 부담을 누가 감당하고 있는지, 시민과 지역사회가 서로의 삶을 어떻게 지지할 수 있을지 질문해 봅니다.

How do we care for one another? What would need to change so that anyone who needs care can find support?

After Global Donut Days 2026, join us at Gyeonggi Library for the second lecture in Imagining Libraries for People and Planet. Together, we will explore the ecological ceiling and social foundation of Doughnut Economics through care.

We will think about care with Professor Man Kwon Kim (김만권), a political philosopher at Kyung Hee University’s Institute of Comparative Culture. In his book 나와 지구 돌봄 혁명, he examines care in relation to climate change, demographic change, and the digital divide. As we listen, we will ask who carries the responsibility for care and how we can support one another as citizens and neighbours.
