On the 24th of October, in the spirit of Global Donut Days 2026, Donut Economics Finland Initiative or DEFI takes their booth to the Hello Espoo Event at the Sello library, from 12.00 to 15.00 – the full duration of the event to chat with fellow citizens about Donut Economics, and to gather valuable qualitative data. The plan is to use the Quick Participatory Doughnut Mapping tool designed by DEAL to gather some local qualitative data on the various dimensions of the donut – to eventually construct a local donut portrait, while giving the new citizens of Espoo some donuts for their trouble.
- What: A DEFI donut economics-themed pop-up and free donuts at Hello Espoo event
- Where: Sello Library, Leppävaarankatu 9, Espoo, Finland.
- When: From 12.00 to 15:00
- Who: Anyone who stops by at the event. Aimed at fresh Espoo citizens.
- Why: To have conversations on and spread awareness of Donut Economics; to get qualitative insights to add to a future local Donut Portrait.
