Doughnut Economics Finland Initiative (DEFI)

DEFI exists to
- Build connections across existing sustainability groups in Finland and the general public
- Work on projects about Doughnut Economics and inspire community action.

DEFI runs Doughnut Economics workshops, a reading group and organises events and community hours to localize the Doughnut and build community connections. DEFI also builds Doughnut Economics toolkits for organizations to use.

DEFI currently works with other community groups and student associations in Aalto University. We aim to establish collaboration with Aalto University departments in the upcoming years as well as with the Helsinki Metropolitan Area’s officials.
