I am a fan of Donut Economics. Our world is broken. We have a brilliant new model that we need to get behind.

I'm a passionate advocate for reimagining economic systems to create a more sustainable and equitable world. My journey with Doughnut Economics began with the realisation that traditional models were not aligned with the values I hold dear. Since then, I've been integrating the principles and frameworks of Doughnut Economics into the foundation of my business, A'ARU Collective, using it as my north star in guiding our business decisions.

I am a doctor and economist. Currently retired. I dedicate part of my time to working as a volunteer in various NGOs. At Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL: www.citizenscllimateeurope.org) I am the coordinator in Spain. At CCL we try to influence the Spanish and European parliament to put a price on CO2 emissions and use the money raised to support the energy transition. In my local community in Alicante we promote citizen awareness and local energy communities. And on an international scale, I collaborate with the NGO Rafiki Africa (www.rafiki-africa.org), which works in one of the poorest areas of Uganda to create a fast and replicable development model that ensures a minimum quality of life and allows women to freely decide the number of children they have. they really want to have.

I am a NorCal native, currently living in New York and studying sociology and sustainability. I was introduced to the Doughnut Economics model in one of my sustainability courses and it deeply resonated with me. As someone who grew up under Reaganomics, I am excited to join a community of people who are building a new economic model which will benefit us all!

Hi everyone, After a long career in marketing and business it took having my two boys to realise I needed to focus my energy on doing something productive to help their future. I’m in the final months of an MSc in Sustainable Development and I am keen to get involved in projects where I can use my experience to make a difference. It’s great to be part of the doughnut economics movement. Claire
