I am is a researcher and member at Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research (CENSE), from NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University Lisbon. I am enthusiastic about exploring transformative processes that can support overcome the disconnect from nature and re-balance human-nature systems. My research focuses on capacity building and new approaches to collaboration and co-creation for sustainability, having worked in particular within transformation in Higher Education Institutions. In the past years, I started to engage deeper with the lens of care and a relational paradigm when thinking about sustainability, and founded The CareLab for People & Planet. The CareLab is a new space of collaboration, co-creation and transformative learning where the interlinkages of inner and outer sustainability are explored. I holds a PhD in Social Sustainability (Universidade Aberta) and am alumni of the Postdoc Academy for Transformational Leadership. I enjoy being in nature, biking and cooking.

I am a teacher and vegetable grower and community organiser. I love the ideas in Kate Raworth's book and think they have great potential although I'm struggling with how best to use my very limited time to have the biggest impact. I believe in a future where people can thrive while allowing nature to express herself in the most abundant and beautiful way she/it can - that includes humanity too.

I’m a mum of two, former teacher, qualified accountant and community volunteer. I’m motivated by issues of social justice and environmental protection and interested in making local and national politics serve our communities better within those constraints. I just read Doughnut Economics and would love to see its ideas put into practice locally (where we have a council that I think would be open to the ideas and is probably already doing some of them), nationally and internationally.

I am working with incredible individuals across the world who are committed to transforming the built environment. I believe that we need to create the future we want rather than being recipients of the future we get. I was one of the instigators of the UK 'Our Vision for the Built Environment' which describes that future: a built environment whose explicit purpose is to enable people and nature to flourish together for generations. The follow up 'Our Shared Understanding: a circular economy in the built environment' was launched at the World Circular Economy Forum in June 2023. My areas of focus are: a systems approach to managing the built environment; Project 13, the outcome-focused, collaborative delivery model; digital transformation (including smart infrastructure, digital delivery, connected digital twins, data and information and data-sharing infrastructure); carbon reduction, circular economy & biodiversity and people, including equality, diversity & inclusion.
