I'm searching for new opportunities in climate remediation. My climate arc started with postdoctoral work on biological treatments for groundwater contamination, moved through application as an environmental consultant, and then took me to synthetic biology to create biofuels and clean manufacturing processes that avert pollution in the first place. My technical training is in molecular biology and research science but perhaps more valuable skills are leadership, group motivation, creating an amazing team culture, ensuring clear and effective communication within an organization, and using excellent communication to help an organization present itself externally and get traction in the world. I am motivated when my work does good for people and good for the planet. Fluent in Spanish and English.

Originally from New Hampshire, I defected to the West after college for work. I've spent the majority of my career in technology and the last five years in climate tech helping to rapidly advance home electrification. While I believe technological innovation is a significant driver of demonstrating viability for climate solutions, I am keen to learn frameworks and action plans that can generate broader and more immediate impact across larger populations. Doughnut Economics was the first time I experienced a concise representation of a new economic model that resonated deeply with my values. #c

Erin Andrea Craske
England
Hi, my name is Erin Andrea Craske. I am a transformational business and leadership success coach, mentor, trainer, and educator. I work with positive-impact-driven companies and ethical leaders who want to build profitable businesses with less effort. Often, I meet individuals who are overwhelmed by all the different things that go into being a good leader and running an ethical business. And quite often, the reason they have so many challenges is that they focus on the symptoms of the situation rather than the root cause, prioritising 'how-tos' over 'whys'. The symptoms may come in various shapes and forms, from motivation and leadership confidence to relationships, productivity, decision-making, organisational performance, perception, resilience to external factors, limited resources, scaling impact, or mere stress. It's like an ocean, where tranquillity reigns beneath surface-raging storms. Continuously addressing surface problems demands considerable effort, while tackling the root cause once and for all results in an effortless journey. In business, this translates to strategy; in leadership - to self-concept; in life - to personal freedom; and in profitability - to holistic and mindful business growth. So, aiming to make the world a better place, I empower ethical businesses and conscious business owners to live, lead, and create effortlessly, be their best selves, and achieve success on their own terms by embracing authenticity, following their own rules, elevating mindset, and mastering their state of mind. I invite them to step into Effortlessness. PERSONAL On a more personal note, I love alternative rock, the arts, and art history. I passionately advocate for mental health awareness, personal freedom, and the pursuit of effortlessness in business and life. My hobbies are neatly split into two distinct categories: those that nurture my mental well-being through mindful activities such as painting, sketching, drawing, photography, and videography and those that stimulate my mind through personal growth in psychology and philosophy. SUSTAINABILITY To me, sustainability revolves around people. They shape our society, often prioritising egos over ethics, leading to personal and collective misery, and harming our environment in the process. I firmly believe that to achieve global sustainability, we must first uplift humanity. Awakening human consciousness marks the initial step toward preserving our planet. The WorldGBC's health and wellbeing framework includes six principles for cultivating a robust sustainable built environment: undertaking climate action, prioritising comfort, fostering harmony with nature, safeguarding health (including mental well-being), encouraging positive behaviour, and creating social value. I view my role in sustainability as centred on raising awareness and actively advocating for, as well as contributing to, the latter four principles.

I'm a Chartered Organisational Psychologist (AFBPsS) with Pario Surveys, based in the UK. I work with organisations to improve 'people analytics' - with a focus on transparency, equality and accountability. My new book 'Leadership Principles and Purpose' (Routledge 2024) is tightly referenced and links to 'Doughnut Economics'. The insights build on psychological research and insights from neuroscience, which expose the limitations of traditional economic theory. Most significantly, the advanced psychological models challenge neoliberal economists' misplaced notions of 'rational expectations' and 'bounded rationality'. The book identifies essential elements that underpin motivation and commitment, which are important for the development on economic theory. It also explores how future-focused leaders overcome the FELT Deficit. This is the pattern of 'rational analytic' thinking that dominates in such professions as Finance, Economics, Law and Technology. #psychology #leadership #workculture #hrstrategy #economictheory #neoliberal[Leadership Principles - P-B Cover.jpg] [ ]

I'm the father of a teenager who will grow up in a world I fear will not be safe or supportive and could even be unliveable. The current political and economic system is behind this and appears virtually unstoppable, but an alternative must be possible. I have 30+ years of industry experience, with the last 15 fighting climate change from within the renewable energy sector - as a business leader, innovation project leader and consultant. I want to apply my energies towards a sustainable future world & Doughnut Economics offers the best vision I've seen for this. I'd like to get involved in shaping examples at a local level - and to meet others with a similar outlook!

As an industrial design engineer, biomimicry practitioner, and experienced business developer deeply passionate about nature, patterns, and the principles of the circular economy, I'm excited to join the DEAL Community. With a background in industrial design and business development, I bring a unique perspective to the table, driven by a vision of integrating biomimicry, circular economy principles, and the Doughnut Economy framework into real-world applications. My journey has led me to believe that by uncovering the underlying patterns found in nature and physics, we can gain invaluable insights for navigating complex business challenges. I am convinced that these principles, when combined with the transformative potential of the circular economy, hold the key to creating regenerative business models and product life approaches. Drawing inspiration from the Doughnut Economy framework, I am passionate about reshaping our economic systems to operate within the ecological boundaries of our planet while meeting the needs of all individuals within society. By integrating biomimicry principles, which teach us to emulate nature's sustainable strategies, and circular economy principles, which aim to eliminate waste and promote resource efficiency, we can create innovative solutions that not only drive business success but also foster environmental stewardship and social equity. Joining this community, I am eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals who share my vision of implementing these principles into real-world practices. Together, let's harness the power of nature-inspired design, circular economy strategies, and the Doughnut Economy framework to pave the way for a more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive future. #IndustrialDesign #Biomimicry #CircularEconomy #DoughnutEconomy #Sustainability #BusinessDevelopment #RegenerativeDesign #PatternRecognition
