With a lifelong interest in protecting the natural environment from the ravages of human activity, I have followed, with great interest, many issues and trends in science and technology, as well as human endeavor, that offer glimpses of a sustainable future for our species and our planet. I've worked in energy #conservation, building efficiency science, and renewable energy. My recent focus has been on the use of biocomposite materials in housing, specifically hemp-lime construction, which promises a more sustainable way forward through the present housing crisis, addressing issues related to , #carbon capture, materials toxicity, moisture vapor management, and acoustical mitigation. "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."

I dedicated my final semester of Global Project and Change Management to supporting MasterPeace’s FoodPrint Project in developing an educational food ecolabel inspired by Doughnut Economics. This label is not intended for the commercial market but rather as a tool for engaging European youth in learning about food sustainability through a systems-thinking lense. It highlights what makes a food product (un)sustainable from ecological, human wellbeing and animal welfare perspectives. To inform this project, my bachelor thesis focuses on identifying which sustainability criteria a food label should ideally cover to promote a food system that operates within planetary boundaries and upholds a just social foundation.

I currently work as an Anaesthetic Doctor with experience in finance having studied Economics for my first degree. I also have many hobbies, from painting, music to skiing and sailing! I would like to explore how I can use my moral ambition, skills and knowledge, to invest my time to make a positive impact. I believe our world is facing some of its greatest challenges of our time.

I am a former CEO of a private company manufacturing capital goods for the steel industry. While I have lived and benefitted from the growth mindset, since retiring I have been searching for a movement that can start to change the way our society works. My focus had been on politics but every where I looked at political movements I saw such firmly entrenched opposition to change that I could not see a way to start change that could be successful. After reading "Donought Economics" my eyes were opened to the possibility of focusing on economic change with the many small ways that grass roots efforts could make change develop from the bottom up. I still believe that political change is necessary but with an economic movement developing momentum political change may become inevitable.

Founder & CEO of Sangha Estidama Hub | Planetary Wellbeing Specialist I am dedicated to shaping a sustainable future by promoting both individual and planetary well-being. As the Founder and CEO of Sangha Estidama Hub, I lead initiatives that integrate inner wellbeing with environmental consciousness, fostering sustainable communities and human progress. One of our signature projects, the PERMA Augmented Green Roof Classrooms, addresses the interconnectedness of individual, communal, and environmental health through a holistic planetary wellbeing approach. Our key programs include: • PERMA Program: Targeting high school and university students, this program nurtures emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and inner well-being through nature-based learning. • Job Readiness Program: Designed for engineering and architecture students, it combines the PERMA framework with practical experience in green roof design, bridging the green skills gap. • Green Roof Classrooms: These innovative learning spaces mitigate climate change, promote connection to nature, and offer students and teachers a peaceful oasis for self-reflection and growth. With experience spanning Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and France, I have collaborated with global organizations such as UNESCO, WHO, the World Bank, and Oxfam to create impactful policies and programs that promote sustainable development. In 2022, I had the privilege of serving as a Y20 Saudi Delegate, contributing to global discussions on youth empowerment and sustainability. As an internationally certified Holistic Health & Wellbeing Coach, I bridge the gap between individual well-being and planetary health through a multidisciplinary approach. I hold a BA in Politics & International Relations from the University of Southampton and an MA in Public Policy from King’s College London. My passion lies in exploring the interconnectedness of social, cultural, economic, and environmental factors to provide holistic solutions to the challenges of the 21st century.

en français ci-dessous. My intention is to find out how to implement the donut approach in our organisation. I'm a project manager at the FTI, the Fondation pour les Terrains Industriels de Genève. I launched the ecoParc-industriel dynamic at the FTI 10 years ago. I'm in charge of facilitating the establishment of companies on industrial land on a territorial scale that's bigger than the real estate plot: the urban piece or the plot of land (a neighbourhood block), with the idea of facilitating mutualisation and reducing environmental impacts.

Can we start a Chicago DEAL coalition/group? Meet monthly or so? Can we unroll the Doughnut in Chicago? Work towards a Chicago Community Portrait of Place (DEAL tool) and/or Chicago Data Portrait of Place (DEAL tool)? Or, some other goals? Looking to connect with others interested in any of this. I've read Kate Raworth's Doughnut Economics book. I'm helping beta test a new board game, LIFE Reimagined -- includes storytelling and is based on Doughnut Economics. I'm a retired software engineer. Long-time volunteer with different environmental groups.

I am an organisational inclusion strategist, working to support leadership with and behavioural change at individual, team, and systems levels. I do that with my own consultancy Unheard Voice. I use ( ) as a foundation for this work. This is an academically robust approach to inclusive behaviours- if you're high in CQ you behave inclusively. It can be a missing link taking some of the guesswork out of the culture and values questions in the DE model. Before working full-time in inclusion, I did it part-time, within my Consultancy. My career for 30 years before this was working in broadcast journalism as a journalist and leader. My mission is giving the unheard voice a place to speak.
