The goal of Donut Wien (Doughnut Vienna) is to create a city that is able to meet the needs of its citizens within planetary boundaries, in a way that also supports the global shift to a socially just and regenerative economic system. In 2025 we officially formed a not-for-profit association (“Gemeinütziger Verein”) and in 2026 began working on a project to create a Doughnut Compass for the city, to accelerate policies and structures that can help more citizens, organisations and businesses take part in the transformation. We work in German and English and are open to welcoming new members and collaborations.

- Bringing the network together: we host quarterly Donut Circle meetings which are open to all interested people
- Strategic consultancy for the City of Vienna
- Participation in academic or city-led workshops as a civil society stakeholder
- Doughnut Design for Business workshops and panel discussions
