The city has developed a Dunedin City Portrait, embedded into Council’s strategic framework as a means of setting and measuring sustainable outcomes.

The city is currently developing a City Portrait. Wellington’s Economic Wellbeing Strategy includes Doughnut Economics as one of the inspirations in the shift from economic development to economic wellbeing.

The city has launched its ‘2040 Approach’ - a transition path and resilience strategy, which will be using the Doughnut as one of the guiding frameworks, and is about to start a process of developing a City Portrait.

The Greater Geneva Doughnut (City Portrait) provided a scientific basis for political negotiations between French and Swiss elected representatives on the ecological transition strategy for the territory. The resulting political commitment charter (Greater Geneva in Transition), setting 10 ecological and social objectives for the Greater Geneva in 2050 was signed 2023. The Portrait was developed in a collaboration led by University of Lausanne.

I've seen ecological diversity thriving and I've seen its destruction.  I cannot sit by and watch this beautiful Earth and its ecosystems perish at the hands of human beings unable or unwilling to change.  I'm on a mission to educate, inspire and activate more individuals, families, businesses and community groups to take action towards living in a more sustainable manner.  Cause San Diego is focused on doing so by accelerating positive social impact in our region across sectors and acting as a beacon of hope for other cities and regions globally.  We are developing the San Diego County Doughnut portrait alongside academic, government, nonprofits and corporations b/c we need to better understand the biggest areas of need and allocate time, resource and action towards them.
