Arts Council England supported, multi-sensory “Renegade Economist” experience with Gustav Holst “The Planets” composer

The “Holst Spaceship Earth Experience” a multi-modal, multi-sensory, multi-dimensional motion arts community co-creation, celebrating the 150th Birthday of “Spaceship Earth’s Original Musical Starman” Gustav Holst & the 50th Anniversary of the “Holst Victorian House” founded by Arts & Cultural heritage pioneer Imogen Holst, in the festival centre for the Cotswolds, Cheltenham Spa.

This Arts Council England supported project was seeded as part of my Civic Square, Planet Cheltenham and Doughnut Economics Action Lab peer to peer learning journey. spotlit Gustav Holst's often overlooked impact on popular musical culture, spanning fandom genres from classical to pop, heavy metal, film, and television. Holst is among those few British neo romantic music composers to exert a major global cultural influence, from Hitchcock and Star Wars, David Bowie, Frank Zappa to Black Sabbath, Hannah Peel, Mr Robot, The Simpsons, Bluey and beyond..

A mind expanding edutainment extravaganza the “Holst Spaceship Earth Experience” explores Hotlst’s iconic neo romantic & world music legacy. Focusing on "The Planets" suite, through reflections on interconnectedness, peace, well-being, equality and nature. Aided by inspirational “Let’s Create” knowledge share storytelling, music, art, science, astrology, creative technology, and philosophical inquiry workshops.We welcomed onboard a stellar crew of cross-cultural CreaTech innovators, academics, experience designers, musicians, astrologers, artists, renegade economists and art students, who together over 6 months crafted “Holst Spaceship Earth - Transit of Venus” the missing mystical musical light and sound movement, and experimental collection of cosmic INNER & OUTER “Feel It” nomadic immersive experiences, emphasizing the mantra "We Are All One".
