Back for a fourth year, Global Donut Days 2026 is taking place from 20 to 24 October
Global Donut Days 2026 is a five-day, community-led festival taking place online and in person around the world, centred on Doughnut Economics.
The festival is a time when the DEAL community worldwide shares ideas, exchanges experiences and explores what putting Doughnut Economics into practice looks like in different places and contexts.
This year there are events about cities, land and food, who gets to make decisions, ancestral economies and indigenous voices, art and imagination – to name just a few.
Join us online or in-person from 20–24 October 2026 to hear from the global DEAL community.
Online programme
Global Donut Days is made by a global community of the people already putting Doughnut Economics into practice. That includes people applying the ideas in their neighbourhood, across their city, region and nation, and people collaborating globally on the topics of common interest from ancestral wisdom to art and imagination.

Watch back the opening session of Global Donut Days here “DEAL Intersections: where themes meet to cultivate transformation”.
The DEAL team presented the seven themes of Doughnut Economics in action, highlighting the connections between the themes, sharing the latest Doughnut Economics tools, and talking about the questions and challenges coming up in practice right now.
The session included breakout rooms with DEAL team, where people asked questions and shared their your own experiences of putting Doughnut Economics into practice.
