Doughnut Economics About DEAL DEAL Team Careers FAQ Principles & Guidelines Wider Movement Contact UsMilton Keynes Doughnut Economics Group has a vision of a thriving, safe MK for everyone. We are creating an MK city portrait as a vital tool in making this vision a reality and we are challenging the complex issues that threaten our survival.
The doughnut model provides a safe space or sweet spot for all our economic activity, which will keep us within planetary boundaries and meet people’s needs. This is a different way of doing economics. It shows us how we can meet the needs of all within the means of the planet.
Our work is based on increasing participation and contribution to the solutions we need and challenging top-down thinking wherever we meet it, and we are working to generate this at neighbourhood, local council and city levels.
We meet weekly in person.
