An exploration of personal doughnuts, what are they and how could they work?

I’m a designer, educator, artist and entrepreneur, combining all roles to respond to the current climate & consumption crisis. I’ve designed functional apparel for big brands and ethical brands, I’ve also founded and run creative businesses and exhibited as a textile artist. I teach at graduate level, developing curricula compatible with the challenges we face. I want to find a role for the designer in a society reducing its reliance on consumption. Through Doughnut Economics I want to design and develop a better future for all.

I have two children and I really do want Economic thinking and acting to change, to see a clean, fair, just and sustainable World for them to grow and thrive in! Utopia? I am interested in rural food poverty in "rich countries" and how we can wiggle out of it using the Doughnut!
