I am is a researcher and member at Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research (CENSE), from NOVA School of Science and Technology, NOVA University Lisbon. I am enthusiastic about exploring transformative processes that can support overcome the disconnect from nature and re-balance human-nature systems. My research focuses on capacity building and new approaches to collaboration and co-creation for sustainability, having worked in particular within transformation in Higher Education Institutions. In the past years, I started to engage deeper with the lens of care and a relational paradigm when thinking about sustainability, and founded The CareLab for People & Planet. The CareLab is a new space of collaboration, co-creation and transformative learning where the interlinkages of inner and outer sustainability are explored. I holds a PhD in Social Sustainability (Universidade Aberta) and am alumni of the Postdoc Academy for Transformational Leadership. I enjoy being in nature, biking and cooking.
